Due to the All-Star Game being scheduled on the same night, the Finals have been pushed back to NEXT Sunday, October 17th at 8pm. This will give the All-Star Game all of the attention it deserves, while allowing each of the Finals teams to prepare for the big game. Good luck to all!

Another season of MLCTF has come to an end...
Congratulations to The Roots and Sucka Free for tying for the best team in the regular season. The Roots had the most wins and the best capture eff. while Sucka free was the only undefeated team.
The brackets and playoff schedule have been posted. GL to everyone!
Also, as usual, the teams ahve been re-opend for trading.

The players of Lakshmi have voted to invoke MLCTF V - Rule 3.2 - Captain Replacement.

The new captain for Lakshmi will be the player with the highest salary on the team: Guybrush.
The new captain for Lakshmi has also proposed a small series of trades that, given the circumstances regarding this vote, the admins have allowed. These trades are as follows:
Hubbs for DHI][KFC, who will be the new co-captain.
Esso for niTr0
Nino` for -Tempest
These changes will be effective immediately and the players will be eligible to play in MLCTF V matches as of this evening.

Were at the halfway point in the season now, and the playoffs are only a hop, skip and a jump away. Some teams have really established themselves as dominant, while others just refuse to fade away.
Sucka Free (9)
Sucka Free is tied for first place in the division after 3 weeks of play. They started their season by tying Perfection in a controversial matchup, and then beat up on a struggling Polar Bear team. Sucka Free had a good record after 2 weeks but still hadn't really proved to anyone they were a top team. In week 3 they had their toughest match to this point, going up against the undefeated Overnight Skills. In preperation for the match, Royal adjusted his lineup. Royal traded Slayer off to the Porn Lover's in exchange for Schlong. This was a tremendous trade for Royal as it gave him enough cap space to dump GoGrin for Blackmane... a huge upgrade. While their offence might have taken a slight hit, the defensive pair of NANM and BM is disgusting just to think about. The move payed off too, as Sucka Free shut-out Overnight Skills on both maps, winning 1-0 and 3-0. Now, Sucka Free now plays [MB] in an epic battle for first place in in week 4.
Murder You, Boil You (4)
Touted as one of the best teams after the draft, [MB] wasted no time proving it, as they shocked everyone by easily defeating the number 1 ranked team in week 1. [MB] followed that up by sweeping Perfection in week 2 and looked poised for an undefeated season. Week 3 saw them paired up with a weaker opponent, and 10-1 favorites, but only managed a tie. With the tie against the Polar Bears, it puts them in a tie for first with Sucka Free who they meet next week in what should be a fantastic showdown.
Overnight Skills (12)
Many picked this group to finish at the bottom of the standings. Almost overnight though, they proved that they were much better than that. A week one win over the Polar Bears and a week 2 trouncing of Lakshmi saw people re-evaluating these guys. The evaluation remains the same though, an extremely strong starting 4 with little to no depth. This team relies very heavily on Krav, Brutal, Hedz and WR, with Cloud being their best bet for a 5th man. Just when people thought that this team might be able pull it off, they lose both maps to the underdogs Sucka Free. Was this just a hiccup or is this the Overnight Skills team we were expecting, a win or a tie in week 4 would seal up a playoff spot, but a 2 map loss against Perfection could put them in a very bad situation heading in to week 5 against [MB].

We haven't played 1 game yet this season and already drama begins to unfold.
As part of contract negotiations between Kravnos and Overnight Skillz, a new $16,000 locker has been constructed for the superstar. Kravnos seemed satisfied with his new surroundings, happy almost for a record shattering 4 minutes. This all came crashing down however when Caspah was caught stealing Krav's custom made, game used Rifle to sell to a dealer.
Kravnos demanded that Caspah be cut or he would quit... he added that they should sign Moot to replace him, or he would quit... furthermore, if his orange juice had pulp again next time, that he quits!
As such, Caspah has been dropped in favor of Moot by Overnight Skillz.

The final salaries for MLCTF V went up last night, you can view the salaries by clicking on the Free Agents link above. With the help of over 20 lists, we have what we believe is one of the most accurate MLUT lists to date. Furthermore, you may notice that the salary structure has changed slightly. We hope that these changes will continue to advance the goal of acheiving the most fair and enjoyable teams for everyone involved.

There are still 4 captains who have not got in touch with an MLUT admin with regards to their team name and their team channel.
Durron, Hubbs, Wen and Royal Flush... if you have not submitted your team name and channel by tonight we will be looking for replacements.
Secondly, only 4 captains, out of 12, have submitted rankings. This is a mandatory task of a captain. We have made it much easier for you to submit a list this year so there should be no excuse. Please submit your lists ASAP, if your having any troubles please speak an admin in IRC.
If you guys don't want to try and work with us, why should we put in any effort at all? C'mon lets speed things up a bit. You were all complaining about the down time between the last 2 seasons. We worked hard to speed things up this time and now you have done nothing but delay the draft... lets kick it in to gear fellas.

For the first time in an MLUT event everyone and anyone has a chance to submit a rankings.
Simply head on over http://www.prounreal.com/mlut/players.php?c=16 and then select the "Pre-Rank Players" option at the top of the page. You need to be logged in.
From there you can re-arrange the list as you like until you are happy with a list. If you dont ahve time to do it all at once, you can save your list and come back and finish it at a later time.
Once you are happy with your final list, select submit. If your list is approved by an admin, it will be included in the final salary rankings.

It's great to see how many top players have stepped up this season to captain. Having strong captains is the first step to a strong season, so season 5 is looking amazing at this point. Captain signups will be open until today at 6pm EST, look for the captain list Tuesday or Wednesday in conjunction with the opening of player signups.

One of the largest requests from players this season was to limit the amount of down time between seasons. Well, were listening... captain signups will open up sometime this weekend, the first time that's happened before the previous season has even ended. We want more teams than last year, but can only do that if we have enough quality captains. We need YOUR help in this regard, and remember, if your a captain, your guaranteed a team and a chance to play.
